Excited for Another Summer of Project SEED – 2025

The Chemistry Society of Washington is pleased to announce we are hosting Project SEED for another year! We will be welcoming students from across the DC metro area to participate in a paid summer research internship at one of our local host sites. We had several excited students apply; however, we only had space for 8 students this year.

The summer programming will kick off on May 31 with our Program Welcome. A career panel will be held on July 19 with chemists from across the chemical enterprise sharing their stories and advice with our high school students. On August 2, Dr. Ragle will be holding the writing workshop for pulling together student stories into poster presentations.

After completing their summer research programs, our SEEDlings will be presenting their research posters at the Fall ACS Meeting in DC (during August 17-21). We hope you will support our students at the fall meeting this year and check out their stunning posters.
