One of the activities for celebrating National Chemistry Week 2021 “Fast or Slow- Chemistry Makes it Go” for the Chemical Society of Washington will be on October 22 at the Rockville Town Center . This event will be hosted by the Rockville Science Center Organization. CSW will be collaborating with the STEM ED Community Club at Montgomery College to hold in-person simple and safe activities. The event is open to the community and welcomes people of all ages. COVID safety measures will be followed. Celebrating Chemistry pamphlets will be distributed to the Community. Some of the main goals for this event are to bring awareness for this important annual celebration of Chemistry and entice the young generation into the amazing field of Chemistry and show its relevance to our daily lives.
