Safety Systems was the #2 topic area requested by our members and friends in our 2017 survey. Earlier this year we hosted a three-hour workshop on Safety Instrumented System (SIS) functional safety, lifecycle, and design. This is an additional safety system related presentation that focuses on instrumentation selection for Safety Integrity Level (SIL) applications.

Free parking is available in the garage behind the building. When walking out of the parking garage, you will see two buildings, RO1 is the building to the right of the small courtyard. Upon entrance to building through the glass doors, see Security on your left. Be sure to bring ID.

TAI Engineering Offices – Gunpowder Meeting Room

Free parking is available in the garage behind the building. When walking out of the parking garage, you will see two buildings, TAI is the building to the left of the small courtyard. Enter the rear or front of the building. Take elevator to third floor and sign in with reception. Be sure to bring ID.
Connection will be remote to presenter in Reston.
Three Bechtel-only locations are offered, RO3-9-CR4, Cyber Lab Rom 105, and BGCAPP PSB-240.
Sandwich meal option is offered at the two public locations for $10 for both Member and Non-Members.
PDH certificate is offered at no cost for ISA members and $5 for non-Members.

For this meeting, the presenter will physically be in the Reston room. All other locations will be remotely connected. If we do have more attendees than the rooms can hold, it will be first response, first reserved with BWDC ISA members given preference over non-members.
